PACKING HOUSE
Our Packing House capacity is approximately 160 tons per day.
Once the fruit reaches the packing house, goes through the drencher for disinfection and then stored until it goes to the process for packing. Sometimes, before packing, usually in October, the company follows the Degreening Method which means get rid off the green colour.
It is then washed , waxed, dried and sorted by size. The cartons are then carried to the accumulator area where they are automatic palletized. The pallets are moved to the pre-cooler where they are ready for export. All pallets are barcoded with all the necessary information to enable traceability.Once the truck arrives , the container is loaded and is ready to go to the port for shipment which is approximately 5 kilometers from the plantation.
